Jakarta, Indonesia, Oct 24, 2013 - (ANTARA) - On the sixth day of the Jakarta Fashion Week 2014, Erasmus Huis introduces the Dutch designer Hans Ubbink's collection inspired by the voyages in the past. Specifically for the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week, Ubbink creates this collection with a touch of Garut weaving, Bali weaving, and Makassar silk weaving.

Erasmus Huis will also present the show themed "Dutch Renaissance" which combined fashion with art. In this show, Billy Tjong will showcase his collection inspired by a Dutch artist settling in Bali, Rudolf Bonnet. Meanwhile, Auguste Soesastro's collection was inspired by a Dutch painter also living in Bali, Han Snel.

A show themed "La Vie En Noir" by Senayan City will present collections from Barli Asmara+Bebe, Mango, Max&Co, May & June, Raoul and Wakai.

In the "Indie"-themed show, Matahari as one of the official partners of the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week will showcase their latest affordable fashion collection.

Parang Kencana will reveal their Middle East-inspired fashion collection and show that batik is for all ages and origins.

The Body Shop, also a partner of the Jakarta Fashion Week 2014, collaborates with Lenny Agustin in showing her collection with bold colors.

As a part of the 40th year anniversary of diplomatic relation between Indonesia and Korea, the Korean Cultural Center presents the collection of label Kaal E. Suktae by Lee Suk Tae, and the collection of Albert Yanuar. Lee Suk Tae uses weaving, ikat, and other materials, while Albert Yanuar uses material with Korean-calligraphy-motif by Lie Sang Bong.

Mazda Motor Indonesia also returns as a partner and presents a show "Young & Vibrant Designers". Mazda introduced Identite, Patrick Owen, and Soko Wiyanto who will present their newest collections with one particular design as an interpretation of Kodo (soul of motion) by Mazda.

Senayan City will enliven the Fashion Atrium stage with the fashion show by Max&Co, an Italian brand. Also at the Fashion Atrium, "Fashion Forward 8" will showcase the collections of Vinora and Eridani.

Bellini, another partner of the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week, will hold the "Style @ Work" where six finalists of uniform design competition will present their works with theme "Excellent Banking Front Liners". On this show, Albert Yanuar, Astika Aquilla, Erika Ardianto, Febrina Michaela, Friederich Herman and Jonatan will present three banking-uniform designs using textiles from Bellini. Bellini partners and Musa Widyatmodjo, one of the judges, will also exhibit their fashion shows.

This year, as the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week is supported by Bank Mandiri, Senayan City as the venue provider, L'Oreal Professionnel, The Body Shop, Matahari Department Store, Bellini, JUARA Skincare, Mazda Motor Indonesia, 5asec, You C Vitamin Water, Tiger Air Mandala, Acer and C's Nail Academy are also partnering with the organizer in promoting the Indonesian fashion industry.
