"The Indonesian Embassy has contacted all the Indonesian citizens, including students, in Volgograd to inquire about their condition. No Indonesian was hurt," the embassy said in a press release received by Antara here, on Monday.
A bomb had gone off in Volgograd Station on Sunday at 12.45 p.m. local time, when a bomber entered the metal detector in the entrance gate.
The spokesperson for bomb explosion investigation Commission Vladimir Markin stated that the blast had claimed 15 people and injured 30.
The team has alleged that the suicide bombing was done by a woman who was later identified as Oksana Aslova of Dagestan Republic of Russia.
The incident was the second one after a bomb that exploded at a bus station last October, again by a suicide bomber, a Dagestan woman.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has commanded the security officers to investigate the bomb explosion and increase security in train stations and the airport in Russia.
