Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesias imports dropped 0.79 percent to US$15.46 billion in December 2013, from US$15.58 billion in the same period in 2012, according to the National Statistics Agency (BPS).

BPS chief Suryamin stated at a press conference, here on Monday that imports in December consisted of non-oil/gas imports valued at US$11.24 billion and oil/gas imports worth US$4.22 billion.

The countrys exports in December 2013 meanwhile, reached US$16.98 billion, up by 10.33 percent from US$15.39 billion in the same period last year.

Suryamin pointed out that non-oil/gas exports in the period were recorded at US$13.58 billion while oil/gas exports were worth US$3.41 billion.(*)
