Asked about the thief suspects from Indonesia who were shot by the Malaysian Police and who died in December 2013, Tan Sri stated that these moves are carried out to all criminals, not only just for those from Indonesia.
"We do not choose to execute someone, but we move due to obligation to defend and to protect our officers," he elaborated.
The Malaysian Police had shot down four Indonesians who were suspected to have robbed an apartment in Ampang Hilir Pinggiran, Kuala Lumpur on December 15, 2013.
The incident was highly criticized by the world because the Malaysian Police officers easily shot people who were not terrorists.
