I think this is good thing to do as we need to get clear and complete information from Malaysia," Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa said.The Hague (ANTARA News) - Indonesia will soon send its special envoy to Malaysia to seek complete information on the investigations of the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, stated Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa.
"China will also send its special envoy there. I think this is good thing to do as we need to get clear and complete information from Malaysia," he noted here on Tuesday.
Marty, who was in The Hague to attend a Nuclear Security Summit, remarked that he had informed President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono about the latest developments in the handling of the accident by the Malaysian authorities.
The Malaysian government claimed that the Boeing 777-200 aircraft crashed in the Indian Ocean, killing all 239 people on board.
Marty reported that he had contacted the families of the Indonesian citizens who died in the accident.
"We need clarification from the Malaysian authorities. We do not want the families to miss out on clear information. The Foreign Ministry will send its special envoy to hold an intensive dialog with the Malaysian authorities and so will the Chinese government," he added.
"Malaysia should provide complete information," he asserted.
The flight MH370 was carrying 12 crew members and 227 passengers, including seven Indonesians on board, when it lost contact with the Subang Air Traffic Control early on Saturday morning, March 8.
The aircraft left Kuala Lumpur for Beijing at 12.21 a.m. (*)
