"Nationalism and patriotism are the nation's soul and spirit, which cannot be mixed with politics. This must be taken as a principle," the president said on his twitter account on Thursday.
On a number of occasions, the President said the development of democracy in Indonesia was expected to become more and more mature, after passing through a reform process in 1998 and several direct general elections and direct presidential elections.
