"They (investors) are seeking profits. Wherever the economic growth exists, they will go there. If they do not want to go there, there are still others who will come," he informed journalists here on Friday in response to the result of a Deutsche Banks survey.
The Frankfurt-based foreign banks recent survey was quoted by the Jakarta Post as indicating that the Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa pairs victory in the upcoming presidential election will be a "disappointment" for global investors.
What the survey revealed was just a "bluff" because the investors will not ignore Indonesias great potential of high economic growth and abundant natural resources, Prabowo pointed out.
Besides that, Indonesia has the fourth-largest population in the world. Thus, its domestic consumption can help to boost the economy, he emphasized.
The Prabowo-Hatta pair will compete with the Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla duo in the July 9 presidential election.
