Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Jakarta Composite Index opened 11.89 points or 0.24 percent higher at 5,032.95 points on Tuesday.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks rose 3.11 points or 0.36 percent to 863.31 points.

Meanwhile rupiah gained against the US dollar trading at the level of 11,615 per dollar in the first minute of trade on Tuesday from earlier level of 11,633 per dollar AS.
