The foreigners known by their initials as AB, A, AB and AJ and some of them are Turkish citizens were seen tightly escorted by eight anti-terrorist squad Densus 88 members upon embarking the aircraft.
They were arrested in the Parigi Moutong district while they were on their way to the Poso district on Saturday.
The four foreigners were accompanied by three local residents of Palu namely Saiful, Yudy and Irfan when they were arrested.
The Indonesian citizens who have also been detained have earlier also accompanied the foreigners on their way from Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, to Poso.
The police have confiscated some evidence from them including ABs passport and a minibus and intensified street operations to assure security and stability in the region.(*)
