Head of the anti drug unit of the district police Comr Bambang Budiyanto said on Tuesday the suspect identified as Dd (36) was nabbed together with a friend GN (43) in Tenggarong on Monday night.
Dd, a prosecutor of the Tenggarong prosecution office, and his friend were caught red handed consuming methamphetamine in the house of Dd , Bambang Budiyanto said.
Police also succeeded in confiscating evidence including three packets of methamphetamine and Rp400,000 cash and a hand phone.
The prosecutor has long been suspected of being a drug dealer using his house as a place for drug transactions.
The allegation was confirmed by Gn that he received drug from Dd.
