Pontianak, W Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - A gold mine collapsed and killed at least 18 people at Boma Cave area, Monterado sub-district, Bengkayang District, West Kalimantan Province, Saturday.

Brigadier Suprianus of the Monterado police office here on Sunday confirmed about the fatal accident in the gold mine.

The victims comprised 16 men and two women working for the gold mine which is allegedly illegal. (*)
