Grant Heaney of Australia was among the five foreign participants, Tagor Siagian, spokesman of the Indonesian Hang Gliding and Para Gliding Association, said in a statement here on Sunday.
The other four foreign athletes are from South Korea, he added.
Some 27 domestic athletes participating in the championship comprise two from West Sumatra, three from Banten, three from Jakarta, four from West Java, five from Central Java, five from East Java, three from Yogyakarta, one East Kalimantan, and one from South Kalimantan.
"In total, 32 athletes consisting of five foreigners and 27 Indonesians, are participating in the championship," he said.
