"We will work together," Prabowo stated.
He further acknowledged President Joko Widodos speech at the ceremony and stated that he delivered it well.
"The inauguration of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla was conducted well. I think this was the best (presidential inauguration) so far," Prabowo noted after attending the inauguration of the president and vice president on Monday (October 20).
With regard to the Red-White coalition (KMP) in the parliament, Prabowo remarked that they would think and work positively.
Moreover, the Chairman of the National Democratic Party (Nasdem), Surya Paloh, appreciated Prabowos presence at the ceremony as a form of democracy.
According to him, Prabowo attending the presidential inauguration reflected the success of Indonesias democratic system.
"Although there are differences in opinion between the Red-White coalition and the Great Indonesia coalition, it is important that we come together to build a nation," he pointed out.
He added that all elements of a nation should unite to promote the development of a state.(*)
