Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Vice-President Jusuf Kalla has urged transportation businesses to adjust their service charges following the governments latest decision to reduce fuel prices with effect from January 1, 2015.

The Vice-President also stated that fuel prices will change in accordance with the global oil prices.

On December 31, the government announced it will reduce fuel prices: from Rp8,500 per liter of gasoline and Rp7,500 for gas oil per liter to Rp7,600 and Rp7,250, respectively.

Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Sudirman Said remarked that the government will evaluate fuel prices every month, so their prices can again change in February 2015.
