"His wife was in the same room (where FRM was arrested). We are still investigating whether she knew if the husband used it (heroin)," Chief of the Narcotics Division of South Jakarta Metro Police Resort Station Adjunct Senior Commissioner Hando Wibowo noted here on Tuesday.
Wibowo revealed that before the arrest, the police had received a tip-off regarding drug abuse on Damar Street, Bintaro Permai, South Tangerang, Banten Province.
The police then raided the house and arrested the musician, who was famous in the 1980s, along with his wife.
The police secured a package of heroin, a pack of marijuana, and a bong.
After undergoing urine analysis, FRM tested positive to three types of narcotic substances.
The famous musician was arrested on his birthday on Tuesday (Jan. 6) morning.
FRM may be charged for violating the Criminal Law No.35/2009, Article 111, juncto Article 112 and Article 114 on Narcotics.
