"The party tribunal will announce its decision next week. So let us just wait," Kalla, who was once the general chairman of the party, said here on Thursday.
The countrys second largest political has been split into two with one headed by Aburizal Bakri elected by a party congress in Balai and another by Agug Laksono elected by a rival congress in Jakarta.

The government, however, has decided not to interfere. Instead of giving recognition to one the opposing camps, Justice and Human Rights Minister Yasona Laoly advised them to reconcile
Kalla was here to open a nation working meeting of the Association of All Indonesia Provincial Administrations (APPSI).
He said he relied on the party tribunal to pick the best to lead the party and calls on all accept the victor.
He said the government is in a position of awaiting the decision of the party tribunal next week.
The party tribunal is expected to end the rivalry with its decision next week," the tribunal chairman Prof. Muladi said.
"We will decide next week . We will take the best decision for us all ," Muladi said at the tribunal session on Wednesday.
He said the tribunal will study all facts and evidences presented by both sides before it make the final decision.
He said each side is asked to improve their evidences mentioned but physically non existent.
Muladi said he was pleased that the third session on Wednesday ended peacefully, adding he was worried that it would be a "war", but it was not.
A member of the tribunal Andi Mattalata said the tribunal session was on internal dispute.
Andi said he did nor rule out reconciliation initiated by either side to end the rivalry and bring the two splits into one.(*)
