Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Sierra Leonne President Ernest Bai Koroma has confirmed a plan to attend the 60th commemoration of Asian-African Conference (AAC) which will take place in Jakarta and Bandung on April 19-24.

Besides attending the event, President Koroma will also use his four-day visit in Indonesia to forge diplomatic ties between the two nations, Sierra Leonne de facto representative Datuk Agung Sidayu said in a written statement released on Wednesday.

This will be the first time for President Koroma to visit Indonesia.

President Kooromas entourage will include Foreign Minister Hon Samura Kamara, Information and Communication Minister Hon Alhaji Alpha Kanu and Finance and Development Minister Hon Kaifala Marah.

Sierra Leonne whose capital is Freetown is one of the countries in African continent which have the most stable economic growth.

While in Indonesia, President Koroma will also visit the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) to deliver a general lecture themed "Peace and tolerance culture is the strong foundation to succeed the agenda of prosperity in Sierra Leonne".

In addition, Foreign Minister Samura Kamara will visit Assyafiiyah Islamic University in Jakarta to give lecture on "Peace and Tolreance Culture In Sierra Leonne.(*)
