Investments from China have been relatively small due to a lack of information on Indonesias investment potential and procedures, he said here recently.
"While information on investment should be made available to Chinese investors, the government has already started improving permit services," he noted in a statement.
Chinese investors also need legal certainty and one-stop investment services, he added.

"Following a visit to China last month, President Joko Widodo has directed us, Indonesias representatives, to increase Chinese investments in Indonesia to US$80 billion by 2020, or 17 percent of the total investment target for the period of 2015-2019," the ambassador noted.
Chairman of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Franky Sibarani remarked that the ratio of Chinas investment in Indonesia currently is very small, only seven percent of the total investment plan and realization for the period of 2015-2019.
"The BKPM will facilitate the execution of Chinas investment plans, from the permit application process until the realization process," Sibarani added.
