Jakarta (ANTARA News)-President Joko Widodo has issued Presidential Instruction No. 9/2015 on public communications management, ordering the minister of communications and informatics to coordinate the governments public communication activities.
The presidential instruction was signed on June 25, according to a press statement uploaded on the official website of the Cabinet Secretariat on Tuesday.
The statement said that the presidential instruction was aimed at supporting the work of Joko Widodos working cabinet, gather data on public aspirations, and expedite the dissemination of information on the governments policies and programs.
It was addressed to all ministers of the working cabinet, the cabinet secretary, the National Police chief, the attorney general, the chief of the Indonesian Defense Forces, the head of the State Intelligence Agency, heads of non-ministerial government agencies, governors, district heads and mayors.(*)
