"We discussed three issues, namely investment, trade and protection of Indonesian migrant workers there (in Hong Kong)," President Jokowi told the press after receiving the Hong Kong leader.
Indonesia invited Hong Kong to increase its investment in Indonesia and also expressed the wish to increase its exports to Hong Kong.
"Besides, I express my gratitude for the protection granted to Indonesian migrant workers there," Jokowi stated.
Hong Kongs investment in Indonesia remains relatively small till date.
"Hong Kongs investment in Indonesia hovers around US$600 million, and is clearly very small," he said.
He offered opportunities to invest in projects such as seaport, electricity, toll roads and railway construction, to Hong Kong businessmen.
