San Francisco (ANTARA News) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) ended his US trip on Wednesday by visiting Silicon Valley, the center of United States creative economy in San Francisco.

After delivering his keynote address at the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) at 9:34 a.m. local time at St Regis Hotel, Jokowi headed to Silicon Valley, about an hours drive from San Francisco.

At the Silicon Valley, the president spoke at length about Indonesias economic condition, which continues to improve and shed light on numerous policies to be adopted to attract foreign investors to invest in the country.

While at the Silicon Valley, the Indonesian president also visited the Facebook headquarters, Googleplex, and Plug and Play.

"I take this opportunity to meet the CEO of the giant company in the field of Information Technology," Jokowi affirmed.

At 7:45 p.m. local time on Wednesday, President Jokowi and his entourage will depart from the San Francisco International Airport to return to Jakarta.(*)
