Sochi, Russia (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held meetings with two groups of Russian business leaders here on Friday discussing possible investment in Indonesia.

The first group was led by Igor Sechin, the CEO of energy company Rosneft and the other was led by Oleg Gobulin, the CEO of investment company Alpha Pacific Group at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Jokowi was accompanied by a number of state officials including Coordinating Minister for Economy Darmin Nasution, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Minister for State Companies Rini Soemarno, Trade Minister Thomas Lembong and chief of the presidential staff Teten Masduki.

Jokowi talked for around 30 minutes with Igor on plan to build an oil refinery in Tuban, East Java.

Igor expressed appreciation for the opportunity given to meet the president to discuss possible investment in Indonesia.

With Oleg, Jokowi discussed possible investment by Alpha Pacific Group in Indonesia.

The meetings took place before Jokowi attended the ASEAN-Russia Summit Leaders Meeting in this Russian city.
