Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia's newly appointed finance minister, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, has said she would dedicate herself to expedite Indonesia's development agenda with the goal of providing more and better services, particularly to the poor.

"I will ensure that all citizens are able to partake of the benefits in a thriving economy," Sri Mulyani said via his linkedin account, here on Wednesday.

She termed it is an honor to serve the President and her fellow Indonesians by continuing the ongoing reform program.

"I leave the World Bank after six years of serving as the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. It has been a privilege to oversee the operations of this truly multilateral institution that, like no other, brings together over 180 countries in their joint commitment to end poverty and share prosperity," she noted.

She also thanked Jim Yong Kim, the President of the World Bank Group, for his trust and confidence.

"I deeply value the World Bank's expertise and its focus on working with clients to reach their development goals," she noted.

Mulyani also expressed her commitment to an approach of reaching across the aisle and working with partners to address the big challenges.

In 2010, Mulyani joined the World Bank after serving as both Indonesia's chief economic minister and finance minister under the then-president, Susilo Yudhoyono.

Jokowi had earlier named Mulyani as the finance minister to replace Bambang Brodjonegoro as part of the second cabinet reshuffle of his two-year-old administration.

"I have been striving optimally to improve the efficiency of the Working Cabinet by putting in place a solid team in which members support each other," Jokowi stated while announcing his cabinet reshuffle in the backyard of the Merdeka Palace here on Wednesday.

The head of state has appointed Wiranto as the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs to succeed Luhut Pandjaitan, who has been made the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs to replace Rizal Ramli.

Following is the new cabinet lineup:
1. Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs: Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan,
2. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs: Wiranto
3. Finance Minister: Sri Mulyani Indrawati
4. National Development Planning Minister/Head of the National Development Planning Agency: Bambang Brodjonegoro
5. Spatial Planning and Agrarian Minister/Head of the Agrarian Agency: Sofyan Djalil
6. Head of the Investment Coordinating Board: Thomas Trikasih Lembong
7. Rural Affairs and Development of Backward Regions Minister: Eko Putro Sandjojo
8. Transportation Minister: Budi Karya Sumadi
9. Education and Culture Minister: Muhadjir Effendy
