Semarang, C Java (ANTARA News) - A helicopter carrying Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti made an emergency landing in the Banyuurip soccer field in Temanggung district, Central Java, on Sunday due to bad weather.

Spokesman for the Central Java provincial police Senior Commissioner Djarot Padakova said the helicopter made an emergency landing while on its way from Karimunjawa islands off Central Javas northern coast to Yogyakarta.

Because of the bad weather, the minister proceeded her trip to Yogyakarta by land, he added.

The minister went to Yogyakarta to attend the opening of an international fish crime symposium by President Joko Widodo on Monday.(*)
