Heads of state institutions, cabinet ministers, and ambassadors from friendly countries were seen attending the gathering.

Widodo arrived at the venue at around 5.15 p.m. in the company of Minister/State Secretary Pratikno, welcomed by Novanto at the gate.
Before breaking the fast, the imam of Istiqlal Mosque, KH Nasaruddin Umar, said in his sermon "do not easily brand some one kafir or heretic. In a plural community like ours, it is impossible to unite people like in a homogenous community."
Among those attending the gathering were Deputy House Speakers Fadli Zon, Fahri Hamzah, Agus Hermanto, and Taufik Kurniawan; the Chairman of the Peoples Consultative Assembly, Zulkifli Hasan; and Chairman of the Regional Representatives Counci, Oesman Sapta.
Cabinet ministers who attended the event included Coordinating Minister for Political, Security and Legal Affairs Wiranto, Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto, the Commander of the Defense Forces (TNI) General Gator Nurmantyo, Chief Justice Hatta Ali, the General Chairman of the National Mandate Party Hatta Rajasa, and the General Chairman of the United Development Party Romahurmuzzy.(*)
