"The Facebook representative of Indonesia had contacted the Director of Cyber Bareskrim to seek more time to collect the data," Wasisto stated at the Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Thursday.
Thus, the schedule of inspections will be postponed until next week.
Earlier, there were indications of a leak of one million Facebook user data from Indonesia in the case of Cambridge Analytica.
According to Wasisto, it has not found any Facebook social networking users in Indonesia whose data have been stolen for a particular interest.
"There was no such type of Cambridge Analytica case found during the inspection, which was conducted by police and Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemkominfo)," he revealed.
Wasisto noted that police have not received any reports from the public related to the leakage of FB user data.
According to the data, the number of Indonesian people who access Facebook has reached more than 115 million people per month, out of the 2.07 billion users in the world.
