The event, which is being held at the RAI Amsterdam from June 21 to 23, will host the Paviliun Indonesia booth that will showcase Arabica and Robusta coffee from various areas of the archipelago, including Sumatra Gayo, Bajawa Flores, Bali Kintamani, Sulawesi Toraja and West Java Preanger.
Five Indonesian coffee producers - Bintang Lima Pasifik, Blanco Coffee, Gayo Mandiri, Arisarina and SCAI - will promote Indonesian specialty coffee through a coffee cupping program.
"We will continue to support Indonesian coffee businessmen in promoting our coffee in the Netherlands, through facilitating the Paviliun Indonesian at the World of Coffee exhibition," Ambassador Puja said, in a press release to ANTARA Friday.
"I hope that through this exhibition, Indonesia`s flagship coffees will see greater demand from the Dutch market and other European regions," he added.
Through his participation in the exhibition, Puja hopes that significant trade will encourage demand from Dutch and European markets for Indonesian coffee products, which will increase the value of Indonesian exports to the Netherlands, both in volume and value.
The Netherlands is one of Indonesia`s most promising coffee markets in Europe. The value of Indonesian coffee exports to the country in 2017 totalled US$9.2 million, with an upward trend over the last five years of 23.4 percent.
As part of the promotion, Indonesia will hold Trade Expo Indonesia in Banten, West Java, in October, to target potential international buyers and investors of Indonesian specialty coffees.
