Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina has increased the prices of several non-subsidized fuels since Sunday namely the Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo gasoline brands.

It has aldo increased the prices of Pertamina Dex and Dexlite diesel brands as well, according to an official statement from Pertamina received here on Monday.

Pertamina announced on its website that the price of Pertamax per liter was increased to Rp9,500 from Rp8,900, while the price of Pertamax Turbo per liter was increased to Rp10,700 from Rp10,100.

Meanwhile, the price of Pertamina Dex per liter was raised to Rp10,500 from Rp10,000 and the price of Dexlite per liter to Rp9,200 from Rp8,200.

Pertamina vice president of corporate communication Adiatma Sardjito said that the company needed to raise the fuel prices because of the increase in crude oil prices.

Pertamina also appreciated people who use fuel in accordance with the specifications of their vehicles.

"We always provide fuel with best quality and price for loyal consumers," he said.
