China in the event fielded Xiaojing Ji and Jiayu Wu, who have earlier dominated the matches since the qualifying round. Both won a total of 473.2 points in the final round.
South Korea won the silver medal with a difference of 5.6 points. Shooters Kim Minjung and Lee Daemyung won 467.6 points.
Bronze medals were grabbed by shooters Le Thi Linh Chi and Tran Quoc Cuong, from Vietnam with 407.5 points.
Japan ranks fourth with 362.2 points, and Kazakhstan is ranked fifth with a total of 323.9 points.
