Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Five Indonesian athletes will be competing in the Pencak Silat finals of the 2018 Asian Games, in the Taman Mini Indonesian Indah Pencak Silat villages in East Jakarta on Monday.

The five finalists include Abdul Malik, Wewey Wita, Hanifan Yudani Kusumah, Sarah Tria Monita and Komang Harik Adi Putra.

In the first final match today, Abdul Malik will go against Malaysian athlete Muhammad Faizul M Nasir in the B men`s 50-55 kg weight class at 2 p.m.

The second match will bring Wewey Wita, who will go against Vietnamese athlete Thi Them Tran in the B women`s 50-55kg weight class at 3:30 p.m.

Hanifan Yudani Kusumah will go against Vietnamese athlete Thai Linh Nguyen in the C men`s 55-60 kg weight class at 3:30 pm, in the third match.

Whilst in the fourth match, Sarah Tria Monita will go against Nong Oy Vongphakdy from Laos in the C women`s 55-60 kg weight class at 4 p.m.

Lastly, in the fifth match, Komang Harik Adi Putra will go against Malaysian athlete Mohd Al Juferi Jamari in the E men`s 65-70 kg weight class at 4:30 pm.

Before the match, there will also be a competition for individual women`s Pencak Silat athletes at 9 a.m, while at 10 a.m., the men`s double will compete and at 11 am, the men`s group will also perform.
