According to the official portal of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) accessed Saturday morning, the epicenter was at 2.57 North Latitude and 125.06 East Longitude.
The earthquake at a depth of 189 kilometers is not expected to cause a tsunami.
Recently, Lombok has been hit by strong earthquakes leaving more than 460 people dead.
