The Indonesian Embassy organized the seminar in cooperation with the Asia Pacific Study Center of the EAFIT University to discuss business experiences with Indonesia.
"Indonesian-made products, especially textile goods, are of high quality and even of higherer quality and more competitive prices compared to similar products from other countries," said a Colombian textile businessman who was the guest speaker at the event.
At the event, the Indonesian Ambassador to Colombia, Priyo Iswanto made a presentation entitled "Indonesia: Diversity and Economic Future".
In addition, the Indonesian Embassy in Bogota also opened a stand containing information on the potential and opportunities of tourism, trade, and the diversity of Indonesian art and culture by exhibiting `wayang golek` wood carvings, Indonesian batik dresses, and dry food products that have the potential to be sold in Colombia.
?? "Hundreds of students and academics at the EAFIT University campus visited the stand and the response was very positive," said Ambassador Priyo.
