Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA News) - Three hotels in the Bali resort area of Nusa Dua will be converted into temporary offices of delegations to the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank (IMF-WB) on October 8-14, 2018.

"In total, 600 hotel rooms will be changed into the offices of the delegates," Marketing and Operations Director of Pacto Convex Indonesia Wiwin Kurniawan noted in his capacity as the organizer of the IMF-WB annual meeting here on Thursday.

The 600 hotel rooms comprise all rooms at Westin Hotel and Bali Nusa Dua Hotel as well as 42 rooms at the Grand Whiz Nusa Dua Hotel, she stated.

The hotel rooms will be turned into temporary offices of delegates to the IMF-WB meeting by taking out all facilities, including mattresses, from the hotel rooms starting on Sept 24, she stated.

Facilities inherent to the hotel rooms, including tables, will not be removed, she added.

The small offices and rooms used for mini meetings will be equipped with several supporting facilities, including laptops, she revealed.

Kurniawan noted that the private organizing committee, assigned by the national organizing committee, had completed 95 percent of the preparations for the IMF-WB meeting.

Kurniawan said her side has not faced difficulties in converting the hotel rooms into temporary offices. However, since the number of delegates is large, the task needs complex skills.
