London (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Ambassador to Hungary Wening Esthyprobo recently received appreciations from a Hungarian museum, zoo, and library for the cooperation that has been built for strengthening the two countries` friendship.

One of the appreciations was awarded by the Hungarian Museum of Natural History on October 9 for an exchange of information on Indonesia`s flora and fauna, the embassy`s information and cultural unit said in a statement that Antara received here on Saturday.

On October 10, Ambassador Wening also received a courtesy call of Ny?regyhaz? (Sosto Zoo) Director Gajdos L?szl? and his staff, Dr. Papp Endre, in connection with his zoo`s cooperation with Jakarta-based Ragunan Zoo, the embassy said.

On the same day, Ambassador Wening was awarded a copy of book containing selected stories of Hungarian children that have been translated into Indonesian from the Szechenyi National Library.

The book, titled "Hoppla Mes?i, Kir?ndul?s P?cs V?ros?ba", was written by Erika Bartos, translated into the Indonesian language by the embassy`s staff member, Andras Terfy, and proofread by Ambassador Wening.

Ambassador Wening said the appreciations that he received from the Hungarian counterparts seem to be a bonus for achieving a goal of building Indonesia`s better image and role in Hungary, the Indonesian embassy in Budapest said.
