"Aceh has everything; beautiful nature, abundant natural resources, the tourism industry, and other industries, which can grow here," Uno stated during his visit in Banda Aceh on Tuesday.
Uno is the running mate of the presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto (Prabowo-Sandi) for the 2019 presidential election.
The 2019 presidential election will be contested by two pairs of candidates, namely the serial number 01 Jokowi-Ma`ruf Amin and serial number 02 Subianto-Uno.
"God willing, if Pak (Mr) Subianto and I serve the community (after winning the presidential election), we would maximize the economic potentials of all regions in Indonesia for the benefit of the people of Indonesia," Uno revealed.
The former deputy governor of Jakarta also expressed hope about the progress of Aceh`s economy. The availability of jobs will also increase as well as price stability.
Uno, after arriving in Aceh, immediately visited the mass grave "Siron Tomb" of Aceh tsunami victims.
Previously, while visiting Magelang (Central Java Province), Sandiaga explained that his party wanted to open employment opportunities to the widest extent possible in favor of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), because the MSMEs absorbed employment reaching 97.7 percent.
Furthermore, he noted that his side would also focus on entrepreneurship, because a lot of people`s businesses needed training and assistance.
