"The surprise would not be anticipated by Joko Widodo, " spokesman of the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo-Sandi, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, said here on Sunday.
He remarked that Prabowo Subianto was relaxed ahead of the presidential debate.
Prabowo was ready to point out policies in the fields of food, energy, infrastructure and the environment that were needed by the community and had never been carried out by Joko Widodo`s government.
Prabowo would criticize a policy of food import under Joko Widodo`s government.
"He prepares a new policy," Dahnil Anzar said.
He remarked that vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno would not attend the debate.
Sandiaga Uno was assigned by Prabowo Subianto to meet the public.
"Sandiaga Uno will be in the areas of Bogor and Jakarta. He will explain a lot about the policies of Prabowo Subianto," he said.
The second debate will take place at the Sultan Hotel Jakarta on Sunday night and will be guided by two moderators, Tommy Tjokro and Anisha Dasuki.
Debates with the theme of energy, natural resources, environment, food and infrastructure will only be followed by presidential candidates.
The 2019 presidential election was followed by two pairs of candidates, Jokowi-Ma`ruf and Prabowo-Sandiaga.
