Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian vice presidential candidate Ma'ruf Amin said that he will deal with the third presidential debate in the 2019 Presidential Election armed with his life experience.

"My preparation for tonight's debate is just my life experience. I have lived longer, so I think I have more experience, and now the key is experience," Ma'ruf said at the Situbondo residence here on Sunday.

Sunday’s debate will revolve around education, health, human resources, social issues and culture.

Ma'ruf also said that he was carrying out his activities as usual ahead of the third debate for the 2019 presidential election.

The VP candidate explained that he began his activities this morning by having a casual dialogue with his wife, Wury Estu Handayani, and watching some news on television, one of which was news about the flash flood in Sentani subdistrict in Jayapura district, Papua province.

Furthermore, Ma'ruf also invited some members of his campaign team to have lunch together and received a visit from several senior clerics at Situbondo House.

Joko Widodo's election partner is scheduled to depart from Situbondo House to the third presidential debate site after carrying out the Maghrib prayer.

Indonesia will organize simultaneous legislative and presidential elections on April 17, 2019, where incumbent Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and challenger Prabowo Subianto are again set to go head-to-head. ***2***
