"Most importantly, please do not make mistakes since what I had said that election politics is similar to playing badminton," he stated in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Kalla said he was also optimistic that the Joko Widodo (Jokowi)-Ma'ruf Amin pair would achieve the target of 62 percent votes.
He highlighted the need for major efforts to get the targeted votes in the 2019 Presidential Elections.
"Nothing is impossible in a democratic election," Kalla affirmed.
Kalla emphasized that the winning team of the Jokowi-Amin pair should demonstrate the strength of votes and supporters.
"Hence, now, there is only one thing left, namely giving the people what they will do if they win," the former Golkar Party leader noted.
Indonesia will hold the parliamentary and presidential elections on April 17, 2019. The Jokowi-Amin pair is challenged by the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair.
