Jambi (ANTARA) - The drafting team's results indicated an Rp106 increase in palm kernel price to Rp3,754 from Rp3,649 per kilogram during this period, whereas palm oil FFB price rose Rp7, from Rp1,113 to Rp1,120 per kilogram. This revelation was made by Price Determination Officer of Jambi Province Palm Oil FFB Putri Rainun in Jambi, Saturday.

Taking into account the price of fresh palm fruits (FFB), crude palm oil (CPO), and palm oil Fresh Fruit (TBS) in Jambi Province on April 12-18, 2019, the CPO price recorded an increase of Rp133 to Rp6,659 per kilogram from Rp6,526 during the earlier period.

"The price had vacillated in the earlier periods on the basis of a decision based on the agreement reached between the CPO price formulation team in Jambi and the farmers, palm oil plantation companies, and related parties.

The TBS price of the three-year planting age for this period was set at Rp1,120 per kilogram; four-year planting age at Rp1,188 per kilogram; five-year planting age, Rp1,243 per kilogram; six-year planting period, Rp1,296 per kilogram; and seven-year planting age, Rp1,329 per kilogram.

The eight-year planting period is valued at Rp1,356 per kilogram, the nine-year planting age is set at Rp1,383 per kilogram; the 10-20-year planting age at Rp1,424 per kilogram; 21-24-year planting age at Rp1,380 per kilogram; and for above 25 years at Rp1,315 per kilogram.

The prices of CPO, FFB, and palm kernel was set on the basis of the agreement of the drafting team at a meeting in which entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and local palm oil farmer groups attended and was in line with the Minister of Agriculture's regulations and governor regulations.
