Jakarta (ANTARA) - The vice presidential candidate number 01, Ma'ruf Amin, led a mass prayer meeting before supporters of presidential pair Joko Widodo (Jokowi)-Ma'ruf during the final campaign rally called "Konser Putih Bersatu" at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Saturday.

Prior to the prayer meeting, Ma'ruf, who a prominent Islamic scholar in Indonesia, called on supporters to go to polling stations and cast their votes for presidential candidate pair number 01 on election day on April 17.

Vowing that Indonesia would move forward if the pair wins, Ma'ruf said, "We will make the TPS (polling station) white; so cast votes and make sure the white candidates win the presidential elections," he remarked, referring to the presidential pair's well-known dress code of white shirts." Hoping the final campaign rally attended by thousands of people would lead the pair to victory, Ma'ruf
said, "O, Allah, please make this rally a convention that is full of Your blessings, one that will lead number 01 (presidential candidates) to win."

Thousands of Jokowi-Amin supporters filled the area around the stadium since morning, considering the capacity of the main stadium is only for 160 thousand people.

No less than 500 national musicians, celebrities, and public figures participated in the concert, including Glenn Fredly, Ruth Sahanaya, Yuni Shara, Krisdayanti, Addie MS, Ashanty, Dira Sugandi, Teza Sumendra, Sophia Latjuba, Andien, Nirina Zubir, and Bimbo, Slank.
