Gou Haodong, China's consul general based in Denpasar, Bali, remarked here on Monday that tens of Chinese investors and businessmen from the three Indonesian provinces were expected to attend the forum.
The Chinese government has been encouraging Chinese investors to invest in Indonesia, particularly in the three provinces belonging to the Lesser Sunda Islands group, he noted.

Several Chinese investors had earlier paid a visit to NTT and expressed interest in investing in the province.
Former NTT Governor Frans Lebu Raya had visited China to invite Chinese businessmen to invest in the province.
Gou Haodong stated that communication has posed an obstacle for Chinese investors in materializing investment in NTT.

"The main obstacle is (the lack of) human resources capable of communicating regarding the languages," he stated.
Furthermore, several Chinese investors were unaware of the NTT government's policies and the condition of development in the province.
He expressed hope that the forum in November would offer a broader understanding of the three provinces to Chinese investors.
