For the next cabinet, the Indonesian Women Coalition recommended that the previous women ministers who had excellent performances be reappointed.

Regarding women's matters, she suggested that the Women Empowerment and Child Protection Minister be given to a figure who has comprehensive knowledge and capability on gender mainstreaming, abolishing violence against women and children, as well as fulfillment of rights of women and children.

President Jokowi had confirmed earlier that the total number of ministers in his new cabinet line-up would remain the same as that of the previous one.
