That is why I ordered an investigation into him and dismissal from his post.Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chief of Jakarta Metropolitan Police Inspector General Gatot Eddy Pramono confirmed a report of dismissal of Kebayoran Baru police precinct chief, with initials Adjunct Senior Commissioner BA, over ethics code violation, including alleged involvement in drugs.
"It has been quite long, a few months back," he stated in Jakarta on Thursday.
Pramono affirmed that BA was dismissed on grounds of violation of the code of ethics, including the use of crystal methamphetamine.

He noted that the professional and security division of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police is yet in the process of questioning BA to uncover his involvement in a drugs case.
"Hence, I ordered an investigation into him and dismissal from his post," he explained.
Users of crystal methamphetamine, narcotics, marijuana, and other addictive drugs transcend communities and socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
