Solo, C Java (ANTARA) - The Transportation Ministry plans to turn the second floor of the Tirtonadi bus terminal in the Central Java city of Solo into a creative terminal to accommodate millennial generation's potentials. "A team of the Transportation Ministry has intentionally looked at what the potential is of the Tirtonadi bus terminal. The presence of a creative center is good so the second floor of the bus terminal will be turned into one. To function as a creative center nearly 2,000 sq. mt. of the second floor may be divided into three," Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said while visiting the bus terminal Saturday.

The place can be used for student activities on working days and may be rented out to wedding parties on Saturdays and Sundays to increase the bus terminal's income, he said.

"On the south side of the second floor, there will be futsal, basket, and culinary courts. Of course, there must be good music shows. Next month there will be a music competition among millennials and the winners will become regular musicians here," he said.

The culinary courts will offer 10 most delicious food items in Solo City. To alleviate their financial burden the culinary outlets will be exempt from rentals for a year," he said.

He expressed the hope that the presence of a creative center will attract more people particularly bus passengers to spend their time in Solo.
