"We augment family ties by worshiping with our kin at home," Sholeh remarked during a press conference at BNPB Graha, Jakarta.
Sholeh believes that prayers can be offered to Allah at home along with the family.
Moreover, in this manner, relations among human beings and family relationships can be enhanced.
According to Sholeh, the COVID-19 outbreak will result in several practices, generally followed earlier during Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr in 1441 H, not being applicable in the current scenario.
"The lesson to be learnt from the coronavirus outbreak is to make our home as the center of worship. We light our homes with worship," he emphasized.
Sholeh drew importance to the steps that should be taken to halt the spread of COVID-19 in the form of using masks in public places, washing hands with soap and running water, maintaining a safe recommended distance, and staying at home.
"We can still worship at home," he remarked.
