No casualties or injuries were reported
Depok, West Java (ANTARA) - A fire gutted a dormitory of the Indonesian Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters, though no reports were received of any casualties or injuries, Denny Romulo of the Depok Fire Brigade office stated.

"No casualties or injuries were reported," Romulo noted here on Monday.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated to uncover whether it was the result of a short circuit or owing to other reasons, he remarked.

Romulo suspected that the fire arose from one of the houses and thereafter swept through the other residences.

The fire broke out at 7:45 p.m. local time on Sunday and was put out at around 10:30 p.m. local time.

"We struggled to douse the flames. The fire could only be brought under control some 2.5 hours later," he stated.

To extinguish the fire, Romulo’s side deployed four fire engines from Depok and one from the Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters.
