Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA) - A whirlwind damaged 30 homes in Lembar Village in West Lombok District, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, on Friday afternoon.

"That's provisional data that we have obtained tonight. Data collection is still being carried out by the village authorities," Lembar Police Chief First Inspector Boy Ari Purnomo S said on Friday night.

There were no casualties due to the natural disaster, but one teenager was injured, namely Ayu Lestari (15), a resident of Gerepek Hamlet. Her head and face were hit by collapsed building materials.

Of the 30 homes, 20 homes were slightly damaged, and 10 were severely damaged, forcing the entire family to flee to safer place.

The whirlwind also uprooted several trees that grew on road side.
