The drive-thru vaccination this time targets 750 taxi driversDenpasar, Bali (ANTARA) - Some 750 taxi drivers on the resort island of Bali joined drive-through COVID-19 vaccination service launched by the Bali provincial police and health office .
"The drive-thru vaccination this time targets 750 taxi drivers," Chief of the Bali Provincial Police Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra said in a press statement released on Saturday night.
The drive-thru vaccination service follows four stages of vaccination, starting from registration, screening, vaccination and observation to monitor the condition of taxi drivers.
"From one post to another, (we prepared) special places in accordance with the vaccination stages and standard operating procedure (SOP). So we continue to follow the stages of vaccination," he said.
He expressed the hope that the drive thru Covid-19 vaccination service will run smoothly and will help the government accelerate the implementation of vaccination program in Bali as targeted.
"When the people of Bali have been vaccinated and the Covid-19 pandemic has been over the Bali economy will return to normal," he said.
Earlier, spokesman of the Udayana Regional Military Command Colonel dr. I Made Mardika said the drive-thru vaccination service was also conducted at the Udayana Regional Military Command compound.
