Jakarta (ANTARA) - Technoplast and Halodoc have collaborated to provide COVID-19 vaccination services in an effort to support the government in working to contain the pandemic, Director of PT Trisinar Indopratama (Technoplast) Ellies Kiswoto said in a statement received in Jakarta on Friday.

"Technoplast is committed to supporting Halodoc, as well as the government, in its mission to provide COVID-19 vaccination services, so that this service can be made available to all levels of society and, at the same time, ensuring the safety, effectiveness, and quality of vaccines during the vaccination process to storing (process)," Kiswoto said.

Technoplast supports the Covid-19 vaccination service activities organized by Halodoc. To date, this initiative has inoculated 163.000 people across eight cities and districts throughout Indonesia.

Technoplast provided supplies of Insulated Vaccine Carrier or vaccine boxes for all Halodoc vaccine service centers, to ensure the quality and safety of the vaccines.

IVC Technoplast was a domestic innovation, which proved that the need for vaccine boxes can be met by domestic manufacturers.

Technoplast also collaborated with Telkom Indonesia to complete the design of the vaccine box with Internet on Things (IoT) technology.

Halodoc Vice President Government Relations and Corporate Affairs Adeline Hindarto praised all parties who supported free COVID-19 vaccination services for the public.

"We are ready to continue the COVID-19 vaccination service by prioritizing excellent service and ensuring the safety and quality of vaccines received by the community," Hindarto said.

Technoplast and Halodoc encourage people who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine to become inoculated. Currently, the Halodoc vaccination service supported by IVC Technoplast is still available.

The Halodoc vaccination service center in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and Medan can be accessed at any time and anywhere through the online Halodoc application.

To date, more than 19.6 million Indonesians have received both COVID-19 vaccinations, while more than 46.2 million people have received the first dose.
