Soekarno-Hatta ranked among the world's best airports by implementing the best health protocols during the pandemic. The airport also ranked among the Top 10 Best Airport Staff in the world.
"This achievement is not solely our work but also of all ground staff, immigration officers, retailers, and security crews. Thank you and be proud because Indonesia is proud to have you all," Thohir remarked.

Thohir expressed hope that this achievement would be useful to encourage and motivate all airport staff to provide the best service to the community.

In another Skytrax category, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport ranked among the Top 10 Best Airport Staff at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2021.
This award is bestowed in line with the quality of frontline staff at the airport, including behavior, friendliness, and efficiency in serving customers.
President Director of PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II Muhammad Awaluddin highlighted innovation in services offered to customers at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport in the form of digital officer personnel with digital devices, Video Customer Assistant (VICA), and concierge express.
Awaluddin noted that customer service at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport was also supported by the iPerform application used by AP II internals.
Through iPerform, various services impacting customer satisfaction can be monitored, such as baggage service, utilization of check-in counters, and use of parking stands to facilitate the arrival and departure of aircraft passengers.
